[TRAINING] NHFOODS & KOKEN: LOOKING BACK AT THE LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM – IMPACT & ACHIEVEMENTS

To achieve sustainable growth, it is essential for any business to cultivate a management team that not only collaborates effectively across departments but also demonstrates strong problem-solving capabilities and proactively proposes initiatives that contribute to the company’s overall development.

However, prior to implementing the consulting program aimed at strengthening their internal management teams, Nipponham Vietnam Joint Stock Company and KOKEN Vietnam Co., Ltd., both clients of AIMNEXT, encountered several key , such as:

  •  A lack of proactive mindset and willingness to take on challenges — particularly among local managers and potential management candidates.
  • Limited understanding of the roles and responsibilities of a manager, especially in situations requiring problem resolution or critical decision-making.
  • Underdeveloped skills in team management, staff development, and practical problem-solving, which negatively impacted operational efficiency and succession planning.

 

In response to these issues, AIMNEXT designed a tailored, multi-phase consulting program implemented over a period of approximately nine months. The program was carefully structured to ensure practical relevance and measurable outcomes after each module. The training roadmap was divided into progressive stages, allowing participants to build knowledge and apply skills in a systematic and sustainable manner.

Below is an overview of the consulting journey developed by AIMNEXT:

Phase 1: Basic Management Skills: This course helps participants gain a clear understanding of the roles and responsibilities of a manager, while equipping them with essential management skills to improve work efficiency.

Phase 2: Problem Solving Skill: This course enhances participants’ awareness of challenges in the workplace and fosters a mindset of continuous improvement. Learners will master the step-by-step problem-solving process, logical thinking methods, and practical tools applicable at each stage.

Additionally, the program strengthens analytical skills to help participants identify root causes and develop effective, sustainable solutions that prevent recurrence.

 Phase 3: Leadership Skill Development: Through this course, participants will have the opportunity to reflect on their leadership roles, responsibilities, and identify a leadership style that suits them. The program also provides core skills essential to managing people effectively, such as task delegation, motivation techniques, talent retention strategies, and persuasive communication.

Moreover, learners will enhance their ability to train and develop subordinates, and build high-performing teams.

Between each phase, the program includes intensive follow-up sessions. These sessions allow participants to present their action plans after applying the content in real-life situations, share challenges encountered, and receive coaching on how to address practical difficulties in execution.

Upon completing all training phases, participants attend a final presentation session, where they report on what they have applied, the results achieved, and goals moving forward. Direct feedback from senior management is provided to reinforce learning motivation and encourage ongoing development.

At the same time, company leaders gain insight into the growth of their team members through the real-world improvement initiatives they’ve implemented.
